PAINTING: "Woman Fixing Her Hair" - Oil on Canvas Description:  Nude by waterfall. FICTION: "Second Wind"- Novel that takes place in North Carolina in 1960, during and just after Hurricane Donna. The story concerns the adventures of a young man who enlists the aid of a Cherokee friend to steal the body of his older brother in order to fulfill the promise of an Indian burial. Pursued by the young man's estranged father, a concerned woman acquaintance, and the SBI and local authorities, the boys begin a cross-state journey in a stolen hearse from the Crystal Coast of North Carolina to the Black Mountain Range, the highest mountains east of the Mississippi River.
"Nobody's Real" is one song I wrote from a demo album I recorded several years back entitled "Let It Ride". It's called "Amalgam" and concerns the misadventures of four primary characters and their interwining destinies. Ripe with horror, obsession, taboo, and criminality, this story reveals the twisted insides of modern man's inhumanity, and explores the depths to which unrepentant souls can sink.  What else could one want?
