Successful works
of art in any medium serve as a profound link between the artist and the audience. It is this premise that sets my course
when determining a subject worthy of pursuit and development. It is my goal as an artist to represent
the emotional response I experience when inspired by a subject and to elicit that same response from the viewer when he or
she considers the representation of my response for the first time. I strive to make my work illustrative of not only
the existential but of the fundamental and universal elements of understanding that defines people as human beings and binds
humanity to the natural world.
